     Lake Norman is a great place for many types of family recreation.  One of the most peaceful is fishing.  People of all ages can enjoy fishing (including catching fish) in Lake Norman.  The cost can be very low, but can also be very high if you want all the best equipment.  The best equipment won’t catch more fish.  It may cast farther, look prettier, go faster, hold more, etc., but having a small budget will not stop you from catching fish.  We hope this section helps you catch more fish and stay out of trouble with the Wildlife Officers.
