Lake Norman - Picnic Shelters
The Lake Norman State Park offers 3 Picnic Shelters. The Kingfisher and Osprey shelters are in the newer picnic area near the swimming area. The Heron shelter is facing the Park Lake just below where the new Visitors Shelter is under construction.
They are available by reservation only and open all year except for Christmas Day. For Reservations, call 1-877-7CAMPNC (1-877-722-6762) or visit ncparks.gov.
